Who should not use Spare Sun
We recommend consulting your GP or healthcare provider before using the panel if any of the following apply to you:
Eye safety
Never look directly into the LEDs while the panel is operating. The light is not a laser, but prolonged direct exposure to eyes should always be avoided.
Safe usage guidelines
Skin type considerations
Red light therapy is safe for all skin tones and types. However if you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend beginning with shorter sessions of 5 minutes and building up gradually over the first two weeks. Darker skin tones may require slightly longer sessions to achieve equivalent depth of penetration — this is normal and not a cause for concern.
