We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee on every Spare Sun order. No forms, no hassle, no questions asked.

Our promise

We believe in the Spare Sun panel completely. If you use it consistently for 30 days and don't see or feel a meaningful difference, we want to hear from you — and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.

You don't need to return the product unused or in original packaging. We trust that you've given it a genuine try — that's all we ask.

How to make a return

Contact us first
Email info@sparesun.com with your order number and a brief note on your experience. We'll respond within one business day with your return authorisation and our return address.

Send the panel back
Pack the panel securely and ship it back to us using a tracked service. Return shipping is at your cost. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service — we cannot be responsible for parcels lost in transit on the way back to us.

Receive your refund
Once we receive your return we'll process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Your bank may take a further 3–5 days to show the credit depending on your provider.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for a return and full refund:

Your return request must be made within 30 days of your original order date
The panel must be returned with all original accessories — power cable, hanging kit, and protective eyewear
The panel must not be physically damaged beyond normal use
You have contacted us before sending the return so we can provide a return authorisation

The product does not need to be unused — we fully expect you to have used it during your 30-day trial. That's the whole point.

Faulty or defective items

Different from a standard return

If your panel develops a fault or stops working correctly, this is covered under your 2-year warranty — not your 30-day return window. Faulty item claims are handled separately and we will always offer a free replacement as the first resolution.

Email us with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or video if possible
We will cover all shipping costs for faulty item returns and replacements
If a replacement is not available we will issue a full refund immediately

Your UK consumer rights

Our 30-day guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

For online purchases you also have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regardless of reason. Our 30-day guarantee simply extends this significantly beyond your legal minimum.
